ISASS Welcomes Domagoi Coric, MD as the 2021- 2022 President!

ISASS has named Dr. Coric the 2021-2022 ISASS President. Dr. Coric is a practicing neurosurgical spine surgeon at Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine Associates in Charlotte, NC.
Domagoi Coric, MD is a leader in the spine field is announced as the 2021/2022 president.
Dr. Coric is Chief of the Spine Division at Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute and Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Atrium Healthcare where he served as Chief of the Department of Neurosurgery for 14 years.
He received a BS from Duke University. and a medical degree where he completed both his general surgical internship and neurosurgical residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Dr. Coric specializes in artificial disc replacement, spinal trauma and tumors. Along with adult reconstructive spinal surgery. He is a highly regarded speaker, and has published more than 100 peer-reviewed academic papers and book chapters. With a focus on motion-preserving spinal technologies.
Currently, he is also the Chair of the AANS/CNS Joint Section of Disorders of Spine and Peripheral Nerves. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Carolina Center for Specialty Surgery, Atrium Healthcare System Political Action Committee and the UnitedHealthcare Spine Scientific Advisory Board.
All Fellows and Young Surgeons attending the Spine IEP Course, for the first time, will receive a 1-year membership to ISASS.
