Why did you choose a fellowship in
Orthopedic Spine? Orthopedic spine subspecialty allows me to be
involved in challenging cases and improve quality of life for patients
with disabling conditions. Given the complicated nature of human
spine, current operative treatment options have only good to moderate success rates. Numerous
advances will be made in the future to find new treatment options and improve
outcomes. Being on the forefront of this is exciting and
gratifying.
How do you like the fellowship program at
Towson Orthopedic? The fellowship program at the Scoliosis and
Spine center at Towson Orthopedic Associates is an excellent place.
I participate in all aspects of spine surgery practice, have outstanding
operative experience including all traditional and cutting-edge operative
treatment options, and benefit from learning from four different spine
surgeons.
How has the IEP for Spine helped you
so far with your fellowship at
Towson? IEP provides easy to access, up to date, and concise information on
broad areas of spine surgery and new technologies. It helps me
prepare for cases and broaden my knowledge base.
Name 3 things that best describes
you (Interests- hobbies, sports, etc)My main interests outside of
spine surgery include spending time with my wife and two children, long
distance running, and woodworking.
