IEP for Spine Embarks on ’09-’10 Fellowship Year

The IEP for Spine is into its second year with more content, more animations, added graphics and new features.

Case Simulation: The newest feature to the IEP enables users to review a case with the guidance of expert opinions.  Currently, the IEP features the Bilateral Facet Dislocation simulation. Login to view. All members of the IEP are invited to send ideas for future case simulations! Please contact us for more information.

Operating Room: Totaling 21 animations, the MIS TLIF is the newest animation in the Operating Room.

Chapters: Facet Devices, Adult Scoliosis and Rehabilitation of the Lumbar Spine chapters have all been updated with new data.

Health Economics – Our newest chapter in the IEP written by Pearldiver’s own, Matt Menze.

Case Studies: All cases which have been submitted for the 2009 IEP Awards are now available as references in the IEP!

CME: Rehabilitation of the Lumbar Spine has been added to the CME courses. Login to the IEP and click on the CME tab.

IEP Rewards Program

The IEP Awards Program for US Fellows is in full effect. All 2009- 2010 Fellows have the opportunity to earn $500 for using the IEP for Spine. To participate, finish all product surveys and at least 20 knowledge checks by May 31, 2010.  The completion of product surveys and knowledge checks will also grant you eligibility in the 2010 IEP Awards. (See below for information on the 2009 IEP Awards and Users’ Conference)

As the year continues, make sure to login to the IEP to stay updated with all the new features.
